Random Question: If you had to move to another country, where would you move?

If you had to move to another country, where would you move?

I would like to move to Japan. I do believe that every country has its pros and cons but Japan has been my dream country every since I was a child. I used to receive balikbayan boxes filled with chocolates, coloring materials, clothes, and my favorite Japanese cup ramen! I always dreamed of living in a country with four different seasons.

Another question that I always love to answer: Where in Japan?

I consider myself both a country girl and a city girl. I want a place where I could enjoy fast internet speed, accessible places, safe and modern residence and at the same time, enjoy the picturesque view of mountains, gardens, temples, shrines with peace and serenity. I actually listed at least places where I could see myself living.

Kyoto is well known for its very traditional scenery of temples and shrines. Fukuoka is also known for its Canal City, where I could at least get the feeling of being in Ghibli animation setting. As for Ishikawa, this is quite special.

I first heard of Ishikawa from a Japanese morning drama or as what they call "Asadora". Each episode lasts for only 15 minutes and the series could gather up to more than a hundred episodes. The asadora titled "Mare" is about a girl who doesn't have dreams and continues to live her life as a normal city employee.

I don't want to spoil the story so I will stop there. Let's just say that "Mare" made me dream and became more interested in Japanese culture.

Thank you for reading!
