Stranger Things is Back with Season 4!

Image
I knew I was going to regret not watching Stranger Things when it was first released. Just this year, due to the pandemic I ran out of shows to watch and just kept watching Ghibli movies. I knew that I needed something new to lessen my boredom in life. So, Stranger Things happened! Not to mention I was kind of waiting with Umbrella Academy.  I don't want to share some spoilers so you guys should really watch the new season of Stranger Things!  I am for a truck of excitement and thrill!

How Do I Manage my Time as a Full-time worker and a Full-time Student?

In today's blog, I'd like to share how I manage my time as a student and as a tutor.  I have been working as an ESL tutor for five years now, but in 2020, I decided to go back to school since I haven't finished my degree. I know you may disagree about this, but I was kind of glad when the pandemic happened, because I get to do almost everything at home. As an introvert, I have more advantages. So, I'd like to start from the most important thing: the schedules. Be flexible. Having a flexible work schedule is an advantage because you can adjust your work schedule with your class schedule. I work more than 10 hours a day and most of my classes from the university only lasts 4 to 6 hours a day, not to mention that some teachers don't really hold lessons every day of the week. Also, make sure that you have enough sleeping time because it's going to be a long day! For example: Work schedule: 8am - 12nn Lunch: 12nn-1pm University Class: 1pm-4pm Then a 30-minute break f...

I spent a 3-day Weekend doing Nothing

Hi guys! Believe me, having a 3-day weekend doing nothing as absolutely great. I have been working 24/7 since the beginning of this year and I have never really had a day off where I am just in my room watching K-dramas and sleep all day. I planned to only take a day off but my body and mind needed more than that. So, I followed what my mind and body tells me to do. I spent all weekend lying on the floor, re-watching Pewdiepie's Resident Evil 8 game through, it has been a long time since I chilled that much. I still love watching his videos all this time. Also, I started watching this K-drama called 'Shooting Stars'. It is actually very nice and interesting. I thought it was just going to be some normal rom-com but as always, it exceeded my expectations. Anyway, I am looking forward to its story soon!  That's it for today's blog! I really want to share something new or interesting next time! I hope you could give me suggestions! Thank you! - Jay Evans

My 2nd Year in University is Ending but NOT YET!

I know that it is too early for me to write this but I just can't wait to get more free time after the semester ends. Because of the pandemic, everything that we need to learn in three months are compressed in six weeks. So, everything is very so stressful already but I am very hopeful that I will be able to finish everything before the end of May. I really want to go out and spend time alone in many places. I haven't really enjoyed the summer season here in the Philippines because of the pandemic and also because of school. And there are a lot of things that I am looking forward to the most this year. These are the K-pop convention that will be held in September. I don't really know what to do. I am on the fence between doing a cosplay or join the dance competition with my friends, but it is also possible that I will do both. What do you think? I am turning 30 soon, so I am really enjoying my 20s. Lol. Anyway, that's all I can talk about today!  See you in my next blog...
